Therapy for Teens & Adolescents
Being a teen or young adult is hard. Between school, friends, social media, family stress, and figuring out who you are, there's a lot to carry. Sometimes it helps to have someone in your corner who listens without judging. In therapy, teens get a private, respectful space to talk about what's on their mind, at their own pace. I won't lecture or tell you what to do. Instead, we'll work together to sort through tough feelings, build coping skills, and find what works for you. For teens who aren't big talkers, we can also use things like art, writing, music, or games to get the conversation started.
Therapy can help teens who are dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood, anger, friendship or family struggles, big life changes, or just feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Over time, many teens feel more confident, communicate better, and handle hard moments with more ease. Parents are an important part of the process too, and I'm happy to keep you in the loop in a way that respects your teen's privacy and trust.
If your teen is having a hard time, or if you're a teen who's ready to talk to someone, I'd love to hear from you.
